Can anyone tell me the best site to get info on Thomas Major B 1919
died in the war 1939. He lived at Pemberton. Asking for his neice that lives in USA. Any help would be appreciated. I have found the family on Lancs BMD,

Died 1st June 1940 age 20
Commemorated on the Dunkirk Memorial France Column 93
Son of Mr & Mrs Thomas Major, of Pemberton , Wigan Lancashire
(info from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission)
There may be a newspaper report and photo ?? kept in the museum Wigan

I've had a quick look, his niece might already have this: He is mentioned on a family tree online, mother is Florence. This appears to be him:

- His parents would have been born around 1900. I have found the grave of a Florence and Thomas Major that fits these dates, address 50 Ridyard Street.

The Thomas Major in question was the 2nd cousin of my Mum.
